1. What the service is

fish-zero.com provides tools that run inside your browser — currently Markdown Editor Pro. Using them requires no account, and we do not store any of your files.

2. ⚠️ About your files

This is the clause that matters most.

The editor uses the browser's File System Access API to overwrite the original file on your disk. There is no cloud copy, no version history and no undo. Pressing save really does write to it.

• Keep your own backups. For anything important, use version control or save a copy first.
• We are not liable for data loss or corruption arising from use of this service.
• Problems at the browser, operating system or hardware level (an interrupted write, a revoked

  permission) are likewise outside our control.

3. Provided as is

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time without individual notice.

4. What you may do

• Use the tools freely, including commercially.
• Download the single-file editor for personal use or self-hosting. The editor itself is

  released under the MIT license: you may copy, modify and distribute it, provided the original copyright notice and license text are kept.

• ⚠️ The content of this site (text, manual, screenshots) and the fish-zero name are

  not covered by the MIT license. Please do not reproduce the site wholesale or use the name in a way that implies affiliation.

5. What you may not do

• Send automated traffic at a volume that affects other people's use of the site.
• Attempt to bypass, interfere with or disable the advertising on the site.
• Use the site for unlawful purposes or to distribute malicious content.

6. Advertising

The site is supported by advertising served by third parties. Ad content does not represent our position or endorsement, and any dealings with advertisers are between you and them. Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Third-party resources

Pages load libraries and fonts from cdnjs and Google Fonts, each with their own terms and policies.

8. Changes

If these terms change, the effective date at the top of this page is updated, and significant changes are announced on the home page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
